If you self-identify as being a Nice Guy, then this video might help you to simply put yourself first. That can be hard when you are accustomed to people-pleasing, and so in this video, I offer up the ways to help put yourself first. To be nice to yourself, care for yourself, look yourself in the mirror and be happy with yourself. Because once you are happy with who and what you are today, you can start to see the myths underpinning Nice Guy Syndrome. And you can choose to no longer believe the myth.

For some, that means expressing their shame to someone safe and seeing what the response is. For others, it’s letting go of perfectionism. But when you feel okay inside yourself, you no longer seek approval in others for the flaws that bind you, and everybody benefits. Most of all, you!
